Addie Kate Creations was born out of the frustration I encountered after ordering birth announcements for my daughter, Adeline Kathryn. I had planned on ordering from the company that takes the newborn picture at the hospital, as I assumed it would be convenient. The last thing I wanted to worry about after having a baby was picking out birth announcements! I was promised I would receive my announcements within a week of the order. I ended up receiving the announcements three weeks later. They were in the wrong color, had the wrong picture on them and the baby's weight was incorrect. On top of the errors the announcements came with assembly required. This was more than a sleep-deprived new mom could handle! I was very disappointed that Adeline's introduction to the world was not what I'd hoped.

After this experience I decided I wanted to create a business that would allow me to provide a better experience for other moms. I designed Addie Kate Creations with the vision that ordering announcements would be a convenient, stress free experience. That is how the full-service option that includes the mailing of announcements came to mind. Whatever service option you choose, my goal is to make working with Addie Kate Creations a smooth and enjoyable experience.
